Liberty VIP hosted their second annual Black event at Raceway Park’s Fall Nationals. There was a nice showing of cars despite the weather. Low and slow, bagged or static, flush or tucked. Take your pick, they had it all. For the winners of the show, they got to take some of the more interesting trophies that I’ve seen at a car show. Enjoy the pictures!

This past weekend was Raceway Park’s 15th Annual Sport Compact Spring Nationals. Big crowds, fast cars, beautiful ladies and musical concert pretty much sums up the event. With 70 degree weather the week prior to Import Survival Series 1, there were high hopes of nice weather for the first car show of the season at Englishtowns, Raceway Park. Sadly enough, it was a brisk 30 degrees when I arrived at the track. However, the racers still came out to make those passes down the 1320 to work out the winter bugs and the show goers got to see some of their competition for the season. MC Slick and DJ L Nino held it down on stage keeping the beats bumping for the crowd.

One sunny morning, just before SEMA, I got a call to grab my camera and be ready. Not long after that call, I found myself in a car ride cruising up the highway and through the NY mountains with some of the cleanest cars in the northeast. Two hours later we landed at James Baird Park for a meet and BBQ. Hot cars and good food made for a fun trip. I have no clue who actually setup this gathering but Thank You for a good time.

SEMA 2010 marked the 8th year SpeedLounge.com has been in attendance. Year after year you think you would be oblivious but after last years SEMA and the low attendance it would make you think what is in store for the aftermarket performance industry? Well this year definitely made things turn around. With over 40,000 attendees and a packed convention center, you can tell that the economy is starting to pick up. It should only get better from here!

It’s not odd on the west coast to have shows and meets like JTuned, Niesi , Eibach and Chinatown showoff, just to name a few, which display some of the hottest and cleanest rides in the scene. Out here in the northeast, you’re more likely to see only a hand full of the same quality cars at the average car show and meet here. Canibeat decided to mix it up a bit with their First Class Fitment show.
The venue they chose was at a little bit of a different location that we normally go to. A airport hanger in Princeton, NJ hosted the 75 hand picked cars for the show where judging was based on wheel fitment and stance of the car. Crazy offset wheels, stretch tires and rolled fenders were a common theme and the sound of pressurized air being released was not far behind with cars rolling on air bags to get that extra low stance.

“Black” is the 1st annual premier luxury VIP car show by Liberty VIP. The show was held at Club Abyss in Sayerville, NJ. Never before has there been a car show dedicated to the true Japanese luxury VIP and VIP style community in the east coast. You won’t find any DUB’s here. Once I heard that this show was going down I had to check it out for myself. The turn out was great and I got to see some of the best looking VIP cars around. Big props go out to Agi and the Liberty VIP crew for throwing this all exclusive VIP show. For more photos Click Here
