Excellent video with a dope beat and edits!

Wow where do I begin… All I can say is this has got to be the craziest Honda Day event so far to date. Raceway Park was jam packed with Honda loving spectators, fastest drag racers and top quality show cars on the east coast. There were tons of giveaways all throughout the day including one lucky winner that went home with the Project Honda Day grand prize hooked up EK Hatch. For more photos of the event Click Here

The REMIX 2010 Tour & Xtreme Drift Circuit invaded Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ for the first time and the turn out was great. Combining a car show with drifting competition is always a winning combo. There were lots of tire smoke, hot cars, hotter models and entertainment throughout the day. Mishimoto teamed up with EATSLEEPRACE to create this special edition line of intercoolers. There are two universal intercoolers in the line. It’s been awhile since we have done a feature. Only because good cars are hard to come by these days. An all around car that performs as well as it looks. We’ve been putting this car on hold because once we feature it we will have to maintain the same level going forward. Well if we ever get around to doing more features we promise you that!

So here it is, Ryan’s Lexus IS300. Now I can go on and on and probably write half a novel with the extensive list of modifications done to this car but since I’m not a novel writer let’s just let the pictures that our photographer Brian Chin took to speak for themselves. (Of course I’ll highlight some of the cool stuff)

This is one of the cleanest and fastest IS300′s I have seen to date. One thing to note is the side exit exhaust system. It’s a custom 4″ downpipe to a 4″ custom side exit exhaust. That’s the usual when running a engine like this IS300. What kind of engine is it? Keep reading!

Now this is why he uses a 4″ exhaust. He replaced the stock IS300 motor for a 2JZ motor that comes from a Supra chassis. Not only is this a 2JZ but this is a fully built 2JZ from head to toe. From BC pistons and crank to HKS valve retainers this engine is considered bullet proof. To make sure the all the boost is reaching the motor he went with a custom made intake manifold by Virtual Works. These guys are top notch when it comes to the 2JZ. From a looks perspective you must admire the “Wire Tuck”.

Check out the size of that turbo! Now of course bigger doesn’t mean better. You need to have the right combination of boost, air & fuel. If not you’ll be in trouble. Also bigger means boost lag as it takes longer to spool up a bigger turbo but in the long run it will be able to produce more boost.  Ryan went with the Garrett GT-47 turbo and for fuel he upgrade his fuel injectors to 1600cc.

Ryan threw away the stock instrument cluster and put in a Race Stack Display. This is one of the most accurate displays out in the racing scene today and is pretty high tech with the LCD display.

Like I said in the beginning we could go on and on with this vehicle with the Tilton clutch assembly to the custom made rear diffuser. Ryan has definitely put a lot attention and detail into his IS. As I finish writing this article up it will probably be the last time you see the car in this form. Ryan will be back at it again with a whole bunch of modifications and changes to his ride, stay tuned!

aLL STaR Performance, led by Gene Marcel will be designing and building a truly unique 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS, which will make its debut at the 2011 SEMA Show. Marcel and his team are no strangers to the car customizing world, having started out in South Florida in the late 90′s and now continuing in Southern California. Since 1996, Gene and his team have been involved with a wide variety of automobiles ranging from two high profile Bomex Honda Accords to their latest 2010 project, an Infiniti G37 Coupe. In between those builds, the guys from aLL STaR have also designed, built and toured a tuner style Scion xB, a Euro styled Volvo S40, a VIP themed Infiniti G35, as well as a 2006 and 2009 Honda Fit.

There are plenty of things to get excited about with this build, starting off with the rendering done by the Gurnade Design Firm. Gurnade was in charge of taking a list of ideas from paper and working their magic to transform it into what you see in the rendering.

The aLL STaR Performance crew has joined forces with some of the top automotive players, all of whose products will be incorporated into the final build. Some of these brands include Forgestar Wheels, Baer brakes, Falken Tires, Air Lift Suspension, Extreme Dimensions, Dupont, American Racing Headers, Lysholm Superchargers, Innovate Motorsports, Azentek, Status Racing, STACK, Autometer, Trent’s Trick Upholstrey, MagnaFlow Exhaust Products, Webasto, Ignited HID, Light WurkZ, StreetGlow, Metra, Image Dynamics, TechAFX, S.P.E.C, Royal Purple and Real AutoWorks.

Some of the highlights to the aLL STaR Performance Chevrolet Camaro SS include a set of 22×11” Forgestar wheels, a custom set of Baer brakes, Air Lift
digital suspension, Lysholm supercharger and a custom paint mix thanks to Dupont.
