On this fine brisk weekend, i was cruising around scouting for locations for future photoshoots when I just so happened to have bumped into our last months feature car and a nice group of super clean cars. After chatting for a bit, I snapped a few photos before we all turned into ice pops.
Being an American seeing this car in person was very interesting. It’s an Evo and a Wagon. Hmmmmmmmmmm, strange but cool. This is the kind of car I would like to own taking kids to little league games and stuff like that. This photo was taken at Super Autobacs in Tokyo Bay Japan. As I was walking through the parking lot the car caught my eye so naturally I started to take pics. Little did I know the owner was walking outside and was giving me a look like wtf. He jumped in his car and left. Being the polite JDM guy he is, he didn’t say anything. Might have been a different conversation If I was in the US.
This photo was taken at Ebisu Circuit Touge Course. I recently spent some time in Japan for my honeymoon so I spent some time hanging with friends at Ebisu Circuit. More short posts to follow on Japanese lifestyle and culture.
I was walking around through the courses when this car pulled up. Struggling to reach my camera in time luckily the driver stopped and let me take some photos of his car before he went on track.

The Tokyo Auto Salon also known as TAS jumped off this past January to exhibit some of hottest rides in the far east. The event traces its history back to the Tokyo Exciting Car Show which was held in 1983 as a forum for establishing the custom car culture. The name was changed to Tokyo Auto Salon in 1987 and this year will mark the event’s 26th anniversary. Last years attendance at the Makuhari MESSE International Exhibit Hall was well over 200,000 spectators and I am sure there was more this year. Continue reading ‘Tokyo Auto Salon’

The Los Angeles Auto Show last November was a tough act to follow with the American debut of Nissan’s newest family member, the GT-R. Detroit does not disappoint however, and the 2008 NAIAS was the venue to unveil new concepts such as the Cadillac CTS Coupe, the Land Rover LR-X, and the Audi R8 V12 TDI. Rumors were confirmed as the wraps were finally taken off the long-awaited Corvette ZR1, while on the other side of the floor, both Ferrari and the American Le Mans Series was feeling the green trend with E85 Ethanol.
