Last weekend the Redline Time Attack series teamed up with Import Alliance to show Nashville what the growing motorsport is all about. The Nashville Superspeedway hosted the two day shootout, a track usually reserved for Nascar or Indy Series races. Like many other oval tracks, the winding infield was used along with nearly half of the track’s banking front straight away where the racers were able to reach speeds well over 100mph, testing the limits of their gearing and boost pressure. jump to gallery

Sorry for the delay on this event coverage! BOTI hit up Budd Creeks for some fast action in the North East! Well after the news from NOPI it seems like BOTI is the future of Sport Compact Racing. Frank Choi and his crew have put in alot of hard work and dedication in keeping Battle alive! It’s kind of funny that the title of the series didn’t evolve into Sport Compact. On Saturday, Hot Import Night’s Nightshift series stopped off at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville, TN to shake things up once more for the South before the show moves back West. As always, some of the hottest cars and even hotter models were on scene for the crowds to check out. Drift demos were performed late into the evening by teams from both North Carolina, and Tennessee, while the main stage was occupied by a few of Nashville’s finest musicians. I’ve been to alot of car shows and it’s hard to find that perfect blend of dope rides. This past weekend Wheel Concept show is on my Top 10 for 2008. I saw alot of clean cars and hey, that’s my style. F’ that funky body kit! I was glad to see that no one was rocking those teddy bear rims. You know what I’m talking about! I like simple and clean.
