As fellow staffer Jimmy Spence posted So Cal was pretty much on fire this weekend. Though there were no fires directly in Long Beach. The effects of the fire were felt by everybody who went to the event. Throughout the first day there was ash falling all day. All the display vehicles and crowd was covered in ash that was being blown in.

Being an American seeing this car in person was very interesting. It’s an Evo and a Wagon. Hmmmmmmmmmm, strange but cool. This is the kind of car I would like to own taking kids to little league games and stuff like that. This photo was taken at Super Autobacs in Tokyo Bay Japan. As I was walking through the parking lot the car caught my eye so naturally I started to take pics. Little did I know the owner was walking outside and was giving me a look like wtf. He jumped in his car and left. Being the polite JDM guy he is, he didn’t say anything. Might have been a different conversation If I was in the US.

Okay, I’ll admit it. I still collect car toys. I briefly wanted to touch on some gifts and toys we recently picked up in Japan. If you’re a toy car collector, there is a store in tokyo called “Mr. Craft” that you might like. As my good friend Antonio says, ” Chris, your head will explode when you walk in there”.
