It’s not odd on the west coast to have shows and meets like JTuned, Niesi , Eibach and Chinatown showoff, just to name a few, which display some of the hottest and cleanest rides in the scene. Out here in the northeast, you’re more likely to see only a hand full of the same quality cars at the average car show and meet here. Canibeat decided to mix it up a bit with their First Class Fitment show.
The venue they chose was at a little bit of a different location that we normally go to. A airport hanger in Princeton, NJ hosted the 75 hand picked cars for the show where judging was based on wheel fitment and stance of the car. Crazy offset wheels, stretch tires and rolled fenders were a common theme and the sound of pressurized air being released was not far behind with cars rolling on air bags to get that extra low stance.

Raceway Parks Fall Nationals is always one of the biggest events of the year with it being last big import event in the area. Drag racers have spent countless hours getting their cars prepped for this event for a chance to win the cash prizes. The car show was packed with the hottest JDM and Euro rides and for the first time, Canibeat had a choice award to the car with the sickest stance. Things don’t end there. On stage, the Elite Camp provided music for the venue and MC Slick kept the crowd in check with the constant give aways and contest. Oh and theres more, the bikini contest had 16 of some of the hottest girls around in the smallest bikinis we could get them in to keep it pg-13. In between rounds of the bikini contest, there were performances from Black Point performing the popular “Watagatapitusberry” and Maino performing “All the above”. All in all, it was a great event and I’m expecting next years events will only be bigger.

Scion TC GT Revealed / Tuner Challenge
Built by John Pangilinan
This is a behind the scenes look at my official entry into the 2010 Scion Tuner Challenge for the 2011 Scion tC. The project was slated for a 3 month build from start to finish, with the winner to be announced at 2010 SEMA held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Video is a montage of the build from bone stock to final product with over 80+ GB worth of footage over a 2 month period, cut and chopped to roughly 2 mins.
Shot with a Canon 7D by Christian San Jose.
The project started with an amazing rendering by my good friend Jon Sibal and the vehicle came to life with the help of great friends and sponsors.
The project was inspired by motorsports and speed. The concept was to build a new TC that would be designed for the track with subtle details that would stand out. This vehicle was built with the intention of challenging myself to think outside the box and taking on a project that is outside my comfort zone. Another goal was to help progress the Scion Racing brand and showcase was the new 2011 TC is capable of.
The car will be unveiled at:
