It was a sunny and brisk April spring day. Drifters from far and near came to invade Englishtown’s Raceway Park to rip up their road course. The sound of screeching tires and plooms of smoke filled the air throughout the entire day. For Club Loose’s first event of the year, it was a nice turnout even after hearing how a lot of enthusiast cars weren’t ready to participate yet. Is it me or did it feel like 2002? For those of you who missed out, it truly felt like we were back in time. Remember those days of waking up early all excited to get some drag racing in. For even the more die-hard racers like myself, I would take the trek out the night before to make sure I was the first in line. Well, it felt just like that last sunday at Honda Day. We arrived at the track to find out people have been camping out from the day before. 6am felt like 10am with the amount of people coming in eager to setup and prep their cars. Highlights of the event include the Yosolo/1320 Performance All Motor, Competition Clutch Unlimited FWD, car show and the infamous Project Honda give away. More after the jump! After attending yesterday’s Honda Day at Atco Raceway, NJ. I am acclimating SpeedLounge’s word of the day/week/year, “Wire Tuck”. It’s just give that engine bay the extra detail and makes everything nice and clean.
It’s that time of year, the Tjin Edition team is back at it again and this year they’ve teamed up with some of the top manufacturers in the industry to bring car enthusiasts an innovative new program. The Tjin Edition RoadShow will be making its way to more than twenty nationwide events showcasing the GM Design Award / Best GM Vehicle winning 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, a custom rolling chassis and some of the industry’s latest and greatest products.

It was a fun and packed event this past Sunday at Syndicated Clothing located in Union, NJ. The first EAT SLEEP RACE x Syndicated Meet was packed with clean cars from around the area. Monster Energy drinks was on-site to aide in quenching the visitors thirst, while DJ Mpos and DJ Naz from Elite Camp tore up the turntables! Before you stepped into the store you had the chance to get some red carpet treatment with our EAT SLEEP RACE x Speedlounge photo booth. We hope to see more from EAT SLEEP RACE so stay tuned!
