Rumor: 2010 GT-R Spec V - 520HP

Word on the street is that the new V Spec GT-R is going to make 520hp at 6,200RPM and 440 torque between 3,200 and 5,200RPM.  Outside it may look exactly the same but cost you twice as much as a regular GT-R.

To be honest it looks like the only purpose of this car is to beat the ZR-1 around the ‘Ring.

VW Tries to Build a Lotus

At the LA Auto Show in Nov., VW plans on unveiling a lightweight concept two seater. They are describing it as a cheaper alternative to a Lotus. What do you think?

This is just a concept so the real car, if it’s made could look completely different. However, it’s supposed to have GTI performance with Diesel Rabbit fuel economy.

Max Mosley Wins Nazi Sex Lawsuit

jalopnik max mosleySo of course I shortened the headline down to get your attention.  For those of you who don’t follow F1; Max Mosley is the head guy in charge of Formula 1 and a British tabloid got video footage of him engaging in, what has been called an orgy, with 5 hookers.  Hit the jump if you want to know more about that.

But in either case, Max sued the tabloid for invasion of privacy claiming that it wasn’t Nazi themed role playing and he won!  So was it good clean bondage fun or was it Nazi recreational fun; find out after the jump.

Wheel Concept Show, Edison NJ

Photos by Brian Chin & Somya Siva

I’ve been to alot of car shows and it’s hard to find that perfect blend of dope rides. This past weekend Wheel Concept show is on my Top 10 for 2008. I saw alot of clean cars and hey, that’s my style. F’ that funky body kit! I was glad to see that no one was rocking those teddy bear rims. You know what I’m talking about! I like simple and clean.

Factory Tuned Subaru’s Coming to the UK

jalopnikSorry US Subie fans!  Subaru has unveiled some nice STi’s with 325 and 375hp but they are for the British market only; hence the reason they are being shown at the British International Motor Show.

Interior and Exterior changes appear to be minor but the horsepower bump is nice.

ZR1’s and Camaros for Everyone

jalopnik

Or at least they will be very soon and that’s if you’ve got close to $100K to spend on your auto toys.

That’s right, the new Corvette ZR1’s are rolling off production lines but it looks like only the Corvette enthusiasts realized it since the new Camaro’s were revealed.

While the new Camaro is cool and all, I personally think the ZR1 is cooler especially with the rumored times it put down at the ‘Ring.
