Well that was quick! One profitable track day weekend for NJ Motorsports Park and Team Pro-Motion (TPM) gets the title of “Official Motorcycle School and Trackday Provider”. I must say that TPM’s ART Basic school is definitely top notch for the trackday newbie. We’ll see how many days TPM has in their lineup for next year on this track.

Warminster, PA and Millville, NJ (July 22, 2008) – Team Pro-Motion and New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) announce a partnership for the development of designated Team Pro-Motion Trackdays and Advanced Rider Training programs at NJMP, the newest premier motorsports facility in the USA. As part of the partnership Team Pro-Motion will be designated as “The Official Motorcycle School and Trackday Provider for New Jersey MotorSports Park.”
“We’re excited to work with Team Pro-Motion in building quality race/ride days and a comprehensive rider training program at NJMP. They have an outstanding reputation and tradition – Team Pro-Motion is one of the most organized, friendly and safety-conscious track organizations around,” states NJMP’s Rob Armbruster. “We’re proud to team up with them and look forward to a long and rewarding partnership. It’s another example of the depth and diversity of Motorsports activities we offer – from major professional race spectator events to club racing and training events – NJMP is a great destination for any and every Motorsports enthusiast.”
“I see this as one of the triumphant moments in the company’s history, (for me it’s) like winning an important race,” said Glen Goldman, former AMA road racer and president of Team Pro-Motion. “Since its inception in 1997, Team Pro-Motion has been steadily developing its Northeast-based Trackday motorcycle business and is now the largest single supplier of trackday events in the region.”
In 2000, Goldman recognized the need to provide training to new and established track day enthusiasts and the Advanced Rider Training program was created. To date, thousands of track riders have been safely brought up to speed. “The ART-Basic school I have been teaching instills great confidence and provides a solid foundation giving new track riders the right start,” says long time member and instructor Bill Sink.
“So many talented riders have found the right place to expand their skills and understand what the tracks allow for. The freedom and environment that’s offered on track is a perfect place to come and get away from the many distractions that street riders face. Now with New Jersey Motorsports Park so close to our headquarters, just outside of Philadelphia, we can now concentrate our efforts on providing our much developed school program to the many track riders in the surrounding area and more” said Goldman.
