This months Evans Tuning feature car is owned by Drew Banghart from the Alpha Racing crew out of New Jersey. Drew was at once an avid auto crosser and bracket racer, but being bitten by the drag race bug he decided to try his hand in building a competitive drag car. His first attempt over two years ago left him with a spun bearing, and an empty wallet with a 10.5 @ 139mph time slip. After taking some time off from the sport, he recently decided to put his aspirations to be competitive aside and focused on his personal goal of running 9’s in a streetable package.
