Well, the saga continues and Fast & Furious is back! The rumor mill has been rumbling around, the director of the original Fast & Furious, Justin Lin is back along with some of the original cast. Now as a tuner affectionado my concern is the relationship of the movie with our culture. Does it represent the true tuner? Out of the Furious & Furious Series only one proved to be with the exception of gangs and money, Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift. I know most of you are saying, “Come on none of the movies represent the tuner culture, they are just movies!” While I believe you, you must remember that the general public that are watching these movies will think when they see a “hooked” up ride trouble is coming.
Anyway, I did some research for the plot of the F&F4 and boy was I disappointed. The plot sort of relates to F&F2 with Tyrese. Drugs, money, racing and bad guy.
From IMDB.com
“Brian help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga. With the help of an informant named James Park, Brian - and ultimately Dominic Toretto - wins a place on the criminal’s team, where he - and his flashy Nissan - plan to catch the man red-handed.”
From Latino Review
“Letty has been killed working for drug baron Antonio Braga. Brian, fresh from an undercover stint in prison, is out to catch the man responsible, and so is Dominic. Brian and Dominic go undercover as members of Braga’s drug transportation team. “
I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
