Okay, I’ll admit it. I still collect car toys. I briefly wanted to touch on some gifts and toys we recently picked up in Japan. If you’re a toy car collector, there is a store in tokyo called “Mr. Craft” that you might like. As my good friend Antonio says, ” Chris, your head will explode when you walk in there”. I was walking around through the courses when this car pulled up. Struggling to reach my camera in time luckily the driver stopped and let me take some photos of his car before he went on track.
It’s a US Government site that gives actual MPG numbers for a large variety of cars that are averages based on what visitors have entered in for their car and it’s pretty accurate (at least for my Civic Si). They also have a ton of info. on getting better gas mileage, where gas is cheap and lists of available alternative fuel vehicles.
Unsurprisingly my car produces 1.7 tons of carbon more than a regular 1.8L Civic.
It’s an interesting interview where the first half of it is really about the first movie and the rest of the video is about 2 throught 4. It’s worth watching depending on how you feel about the Fast and the Furious movies:
