It's been almost 5 years since I've taken my hatch down the 1320 (let alone driven it around the block). I've got the "bug" again, to say the least and I can't wait for the season to start. I'm going to have some fun this year!!!

Who else out there is planning to drag race in 2010? Since the induction of TSL, drag racing has taken a back seat in the sport compact world. A lot of people, even guys at my level, have gotten out of it. So if anyone is planning to drag race this season, post up what you're planning to race.

Here's what I'm starting 2010 season with.

Note: This was the 1st dyno session. The second one was WHOA!!!

Nice Mike... I can't wait. Always loved drag-racing, but unfortunately, I've got nothing for that sport now.... guess that's why i take the pictures.

Chinzo: A top-mount wasn't in the budget...LOL!!! I just kept it real simple. We think the car will go 9.50's once it's all set up and the driver is re-tuned as well.

Rich: I'm going to keep rockin' the original TSL logo. It has a nostalgic feel to it. It's been on the car since TSL was started.

not to mention the OG Alpha banner!

If all goes well I might hit the 1320 to try and see how deep I can go on pump gas.

Hahaha! It's always been a B-Series car and I'm pretty sure it's going to stay that way... LOL!!! ...Other than the D-Series that the car came with.

If I do switch to another engine configuration it's going to be another brand engine and chassis... and it's going to be RWD.

That's retarded. I don't even know if I ever seen a ramhorn setup make that much power. It's about time more of you guys got back into it. I remember the first time I saw you guys run like 8-9 years ago. I remember Pauls black coupe when it broke into the 11s, I was FACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. You guys were pioneers in the tri-state for all this madness. Good luck this season.

Pauls car was so sick back then. and the set-up was sooo simple too. He won MANY events with that car. It definitely looked the best when it had the 17" white TE-37's on it... Man, I miss those days!

Thanks for the love, dude! We're all still around. Most of us have been involved with this "sport compact" thing since the mid-90's. I don't even have to say this, but as you get older your priorities shift, ie; family/kids, careers, education, business, etc. That all take presidence over racing and cars. At every event, a lot of use are at the track. We all might not be racing, but we're there. Timmy's been holding the name down for quite a few years now and doing a great job to say the least. I figured I'd give him a hand...

Yea I have known Dave since I don't even remember, and I used to talk to Paul all the time..... Timmy has been doing some work for me over the past year or so, and I have brought him some friends for cams and clutches and whatnot. Timmy did the swap in my EK last summer. I believe Kristens family has a summer home right near me so I try to catch up with him when he is around. Talk about priorities, I am back in school at 25. I know I am a young buck to most of you guys, but you definitely laid it down for this whole east coast thing. haha I remember Timmy when he just did the swap in his EG...... before going crazy with all the Skunk2 parts and but motor breaking into the 11s. Dave with his Supra, and hatches. I always stop by the booths and show support.... as a matter of fact I think I have one or two OG speedlounge stickers too. I'm sure I will see you guys all at hondaday this weekend at atco.
